How quickly can I receive results?

Results generally have a turn-a-round period of 24 - 48 hours from the time the sample is received into the lab - regardless of the time of year.

Your results will come with a general recommendation of whether treatment is required, based on the information received with the sample (please see - submission form)

Each sample must be sent in with a submission form so that samples can be processed quickly and the results provided can be as accurate as possible. If a sample is received without a submission form, results may be delayed or not processed due to lack of information.

Please note: It is advised not to send samples on a Thursday (North Island) or Friday (Nationwide) as they may be delayed over the weekend in the courier system.

Samples should be collected based on freshness, not on appearance (i.e. do not just collect runny samples). Fresh samples can be held in a cool place (fridge is best - do not freeze) until they are able to be sent

If you have any questions at all regarding the sampling or sending of samples, please call us on
